i wish..

sometimes...
i simply wish......
i am just like xiaoyi..
not her as in totally her..
as in her attitude i want to remember her for..
but not necessarily 'her' now..

remembered once..
i wanted to buy a watch for dear..
for valentine's day i think..
i din dare to go into city chain..
coz i was wearing sch u..
with sch bags and textbooks..
yes..
i am not kidding..
and protraying the --> i am not rich look..
and u peeps noe those sales assistant..
i guess it was a case of insecureness..
LOL~
den i remembered bout xyz..
her heckcare attitude bout how pple think..
why shld we bother bout how pple look at us..
simply love tt..
and i walked in..
hecked those sales assistants following me arnd..
until i found the watch i wanted..
it was a GUESS watch..
plain and simple..
nice..
then i asked for help..
shiok feeling~
ultimate thing is..
BE CONFIDENT, BE URSELF..

the other thing which pretty much amazes me..
was the fact tt she enjoys shopping alone..
i used to think tt i cannot do tt..
it wld be too lonely..
but i guess she's not the only one who enjoys it..
and i am learning to appreciate it too..
hell..
just give me some moment of solitude..
w/o work.
w/o commitments.
w/o pple breathing dwn my neck.
i wan to be able to go shopping on my own..
and buy things i like..
without having to worry tt i need to rush off somewhere at wat time..

dear always like to tell me..
watever we do...
pple will talk behind our back..
so dun think tt the world is perfect..

in army u are too garang [pia]..
pple say u trying to suck up to OC or watsoever..
but if u too slack [nua]..
pple say u chao geng, lazy...

if pple got money..
they spend too much [$$]
pple say they waste money..
hoping one day they will bankrupt..
den see wat they will do..
if pple got money..
but dun spend..
pple say they stingy..
waleu..
got money dun wan to spend..
dun act humble la..
dun wan the money can give us..

these are not craps..
ask urself if u have tot these ways before..
be frank with urself..
the world can be much better..
if only...
and the list goes on..
so ultimate point..
DO THE RIGHT THINGS THAT IS THE BEST FOR URSELF..
why bother bout how others think?

of course must strike a balance..
not to the extent tt..
u are totally in the wrong liao.
still dun wan to change..
self reflection is really important..

GTM at ritz carlton was...
dunno how to describe..

tues:
tini and i just sat outside the meeting rm..
talking and chatting..
ok.. they are the same thing..
nothing to do..
helped out in somethings..
drooled at the models who came for the fashion shows..
hahas~
a lil exaggerated..

there's this guy..
alvin ng..
heard from ms angie's he's mediacorp new upcoming star..
i took a photo with him on my hp..
after much pushing by ms angie..
oh man..
tt's so embarrassing la~
i dun even know who he is..
but i got to admit tt he is v photogenic..
and very shuai [handsome]..
and i got his autograph as well..

from wat i heard from ms angie..
he's from NUS FASS..
yanting, sue anne, meimei..
look out for him!
but this yr is his final yr..
he's taking el lit..
DA SHUAI GE!

but too bad i am attached..
he's really friendly..
and very respectful to ms angie as well..
like those boy next door..
guai, yet macho..

after tt was lunch..
the buffet lunch at the greenhouse..
was alrite i guess..
no offence to ritz carlton food though..
its just tt i may not be suited to the high class food..
many said the food was delicious..

actually there was nothing much..
tini and i just sat there and chatted..
and i read a lil of harry potter..

the nice part of the day..
was entering the toilet..
and finding out tt its great..
:P
there's a couch in there!
and the sink has got soup, tissue papers and hand towels..
nice nice..
ok..
mabbe it's just tt i am shua gu..

dinner was at malay heritage centre..
learnt some instruments of the malay culture..
their culture..
the malay wedding customs..
very interesting and informative!
and the pretend malay bride is v pretty..
heard from tini she's a celebrity from channel suria..
vvv pretty..
the only regret i have when we left tt nite was..
i dun have any close malay friends..
so i wun be able to attend a real malay wedding..
coz i will not be invited to any..

took cab home from ritz carlton..

was so cute..
he was like..
i'm calling for cab now,
go ahead,

pple in timberland really has got no airs arnd them!

the service at ritz carlton was fab..
they went dwn the taxi queue if anyone need to call for a cab urgently..
and took mints for us to eat!
open the cab doors for us..
wow..
ok..
once again..
i admit..
i am sua gu..
haha..

left home at 7..
community service at pasir ris park~
and no...
its not pick rubbish at the beach kaes..
its going into the mangrove areas..
muddy..
sticky..
but me tini lawris and ms angie,
we distributed water..
it was a really dirty affair..
but the pple who came from all over the world for the GTM,
they had fun..
and they had experience..
tt's the great part..

some interesting events b4 the start of the service event:
it was raining when we reached..
everyone was given emergency ponchos..
plastic ones..
and jeff swartz..
timberland CEO..
he's a great guy..
vvv down to earth and funny..
he was giving a speech..
and said:

though timberland has got their own core values..
humility, intergrity etc..
which does not include humilitation..
but i just got to say this..
u guys look ridiculous in the plastic bags!
[his wife was in it too.. hahas]
i mean, really ridiculous..
i din wan to say this..
but i really can't stop myself..
LOL~
but its great to be able to laugh at urself..
and while you guys are going to get all hot and muddy in the mangrove,
me and mike [the president of tbl i think]
will be happily drinking beer!
so good luck, and i am so proud of you guys..

but nop..
he din went off to have beer with mike la..
haha..
he was touring the mangrove area on the boardwalk..
he planted a tree as part of the opening ceremony~
nice CEO..
he's not no airs arnd him at all!
i walked past him like 4 - 5 times,
but not once did i feel pressurised..
hahas..
and i think his son is cute!
about sec 1?
i think..
think he will grow up to be quite handsome..

after the end of everything,
we went back to ritz carlton..
guess wat!
i bathed in the ritz carlton hotel room!!!
it was lovely!
esp the toilet!!!
with bathtub..
gigantic mirror..
and u can enjoy the scenary when u soak in the bathtub..
i will definitely stay there..
at least for one nite..
during my honeymoon..
everything was great..

lunch was at snapples..
poolside lunch..
it was buffet style..
thought the variety wasn't as much,
but it was still lovely!
but i do remember telling tini..
i will be sick of the food if i eat those everyday..
it's too high class for me..
wonder how the rich can actually eat those for every meal!
but i enjoyed the service though..

after tt was another long chat with tini.
nothing much to do..
den we went home at 545..
literally ran off..
coz tini wans to catch a soccer match..
its at yishun stadium..
v qiao!
so we took mrt to khatib together..

i er..
when i reached home,
i changed..
and slept..
all the way to this morning..
so tired!!!
i am so much like a pig..
hahas..

today:
back in office..
GOOD!!!!

it was a super long entry..
hahas..
